About:
WCREW is a nonprofit networking organization formed in 1998 to recognize the professional achievements of females in all facets of the commercial real estate industry. It is a Member Organization of the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women (NNCREW), with over 15,000 members in the U.S. and Canada.

Problem:
Prior to working with the team of Wisconsin Association Management, LLC, WCREW was run by a group of volunteers. As the organization grew, it became more difficult for the organization to plan events that were widely attended, or even coordinate administrative duties such as newsletters, planning large events, or communicating with its National Network. In addition, the organization had problems recruiting new members.

Success:
After identifying membership recruitment as a problem facing the organization, WAM, LLC worked with the volunteers of WAM to implement a successful membership recruitment program that included: incentives to the membership to recruit new members, sending out membership packets and follow through, e-mail reminders of events, sending out a list of event attendees to all Board members so as to act as greeters to the new members and guests, personal handwritten thank you notes to congratulate new members and guests for attending the event. As a result, WCREW's membership increased by 83% in less than 10 months!  Today, WCREW is a growing and respected organization in the Wisconsin real estate community.
